Homework 2: Extending Your Game and Research
(September 18th, 2006)

  1. EXTEND YOUR GAME
    Take the simple click game you made last week, and make it more fun. Do so using two different concepts we went over in class and applying them to your game (for example: for loops and attachMovie).
  2. RESEARCH
    Next week we are going to talk about early video games. Do some online research into the history of video games. There is a fair amount of controversy around what the first video game was and who made it. Find three reliable sources online, including two that have conflicting viewpoints. Put these three links on your website, along with your own analysis, incorporating ideas and opinions from all three. Also, do you see a common thread between these early, early games?
