Homework 4: Creating Games from Rules
(October 9th, 2006)
- For next week, you have two options. You are going to be starting to work on a new game in Flash. Since
we are still concentrating on interaction and gameplay, restrict yourself to colored blocks as graphics.
- Take one of the games you came up with in class from the rules exersize and
start making it into a Flash game. You may also recombine rules we came up with to
make a different game if you'd like. Get at least the core mechanic functioning.
- Expand upon Lab 2 and make it a game with goals. Limit the number of blocks that can
become active, introduce enemies... do whatever you'd like, using the
lab as a starting point.
